About Margaret

I am an upbeat, caring, and creative child-care provider. My 12 years of dance training, 13 years of piano lessons, and B. F. A. in Acting all inform how I approach my work. I use my passion for the creative arts to foster fun and meaningful relationships with children. I have extensive experience doing this. I taught ballet and organized recitals for 15+ children, ages 5-10. I nannied a child with significant emotional struggles, a foster family of eight, and a family of five. I worked as a personal care attendant for a child with Down Syndrome. And I worked as a Montessori preschool teacher. I have taken graduate level classes in psychology and counseling and use the skills acquired to inform my childcare approach. I am available to work 10-15 hours a week and am additionally available for tutoring in dance, drama, piano, and academics, occasional nannying and babysitting, and dog walking/sitting.
