About Margaret

Hello! My name is Maggie, I'm a local to Austin and currently a college student! I've loved working with children since I was a child myself, about 12 years old. Between working as a nanny, in a day-care, in a school, and with lots of individual clients, I've seen a lot of what's out there and I've only loved child-care more for it. I cherish every opportunity to build a relationship and be a positive influence in kid's lives. I'm very comfortable in the kitchen (cooking and baking are actually hobbies of mine) so I'm happy to make meals! Additionally, I'm very comfortable with tutoring for most subjects. I appreciate parents who have a defined way for their sitter to establish authority with the kids (time-out/no dessert/etc.) but I don't mind being flexible where necessary. I'm also more than happy to send regular updates if the parent would like or leave them to disconnect for a little while, whatever the parent is more comfortable with. I'm happy to answer any questions or discuss!
