Hello there! My sister passed away last year in April at age 14. She had Rett Syndrome and I took care of her for most of my life. She had severe epilepsy, was non verbal, stopped walking on her own, can't feed herself, dress herself, go to the bathroom on her own, bathe herself, you name it! I went to all of her hospital visits with her, even up to boston for overnights. I am able to determine a seizure with certainty having been through countless episodes of her's seizures. She was highly in need of full on help with everything and needed full attentive care 24-7. I think I may have what it takes to care for your child. I know I am only 18 but I am willing to learn the needs of your child. I am not attending college in the fall so I am very flexible and my schedule is fully open.
