About Margaret

Hello! My name is Margaret, but I go by Meg! I have two young children, 2. 5yrs & 8mo! Please note - if hired, I would most likely have my infant with me. I can come to you, or your littles can come to our kid-friendly space! I have no formal education in childcare or teaching, but I babysat throughout high school, and I am the first of 10 grandchildren in my family. I'm the oldest by 7 years, so I've been around babies and children basically my whole life! I am *almost* fluent in American Sign Language. I am also CPR and EMT certified through my service as a medic in the Army National Guard. I love engaging with children, and I put particular focus on communicating through play, with compassion and respect. I've learned, through my own son, how much a little silliness can do with the little ones :)
