My baby sitting experience started when I was in junior high school in Anaheim Hills, CA, where I sat for the next door neighbor's baby, and another neighbor's toddler. Then I moved to Gulfport, MS, where I watched a baby, whose parents lived across the street as well as caring for school age (elementary) kids from two different families in my neighborhood. In high school I had weekend baby sitting jobs in both Bellevue, NE. and in Englewood, CO., when I moved there. In the early 2000s, I worked for a small private nanny staffing agency back in Orange County, CA. again. Finally, in 2007, I did baby/child care for Homewatch Caregivers (Denver branch). Around the conclusion of that tenure, I now had my own newborn to take care of, so I took an extended maternity leave until my daughter was approximately 1-year-old.
