When I retired from my career job of 34 years teaching in the elementary and middle school I knew I would like to continue working. For the past 10 years, I have been caring for children and seniors. To my surprise, I have not slowed down. Developing many relationships with my families I have found this second career to be very rewarding. After taking care of both my mother and father, my mother-in-law, our friends, aunt and children ranging in ages from three months to middle school, I continue to enjoy this second career.
