About Margaret

Hi! My name is Margaret, and I am a university student currently on medical leave. My passion for working with children began while caring for my two younger sisters and has grown through ~3 years of babysitting, tutoring students over Zoom with 425 Tutoring, volunteering with the YMCA, working with Spanish-speaking students with organization CCATE (intermediate Spanish level), and leading civics workshops for youth in London with organization Young Citizens. With a background in theater, I love engaging children in creative play, and my interests in cooking and fitness help me prepare nutritious meals and encourage healthy routines. I am CPR/First-Aid certified through American Red Cross, comfortable handling messes, minor injuries, and tantrums, and pride myself on being patient, calm, and firm when needed. My schedule is very flexible, and I am happy to work late or last-minute as needed. Thank you for your consideration!
