About Margaret

I have worked in child care since I was a teenager from babysitting and nannying to camp counseling and outdoor trip leading. I have experience with infants and newborns, as well as school age children. I spent 3 years working in both school and hospital settings providing care for children with special needs. I also taught fourth grade in a self-contained special education classroom. I lead group therapies, helped build communication and social skills, and made life changing connections with these incredible kiddos. Along with teaching academic skills, my job also involved general assistance with feeding, hygiene, movement, and daily activities. I am very comfortable with and have experience working with children on the autism spectrum but also love working with neuro-typical kids too! I am a singer and a psychology graduate currently pursuing a counseling masters at McDaniel College. I love music, art, games, puzzles, and the outdoors.
