About Margaret

My name is Margaret but you may call me Maggie. I have over 3 years of experience in child care and enjoy working with children. I have experience as a lead teacher in a 2-year-old classroom in a daycare setting as well as experience as a reading aid at an elementary school. My husband is Military so I have recently moved back to the Norfolk Virginia area. I have reliable transportation and I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'd describe my personality as positive, hard working, and reliable I like working with kids because it is such an amazing experience to watch them grow and learn and it's very rewarding knowing you are apart of that and helping them along their journey. I'm looking for a job that is a good balance of work and home life. I started working with kids when I started babysitting back in 2016 but my first professional position was in January of 2024 at a daycare as an assistant teacher and worked my way up to lead teacher.
