Hi! I'm Maren, a special needs caregiver with a background in occupational therapy, vision therapy, and hands-on developmental support. Before completing my degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, I worked for 4 years as an Optometric Vision Therapist with school-aged children. I've supported individuals across all ages and abilities: typically developing children, those with developmental delays, special needs children and adults, and seniors in skilled nursing. I'm adaptable to a wide range of care needs, family dynamics, and routines. Over the past several years, I've focused on private caregiving as a nanny and special needs provider. I offer support through sensory play, fine/gross motor activities, home therapy tasks, self-care routines, homework, and community outings. My goal is to meet each family with presence, flexibility, and compassionate, skill-based care.

Maren joined us during a difficult time in our home. She and immediately launched a Therapeutic Support Plan which has been successful . While she is juggling her larger scope aspirations we are being flexible in order to have here as often as possible . We are very fond of her. She has diffused many of the critical problems we had happening with my sons needs. She is an incredible observer . She makes meaningful contributions based on her clinical training , with application in the home setting. Not many caregivers would know how to personalize and make self care, life & schedule modifications rapidly. Can't wait to see you soon !
