About Marena

(I am moving to MTP in the Spring of 2024!) Hello! I'm Marena. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work/Psychology. I also graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2021 with a Masters degree in Special Education of Mild to Moderate Disabilities. I have been a Special Education Teacher for the past two years. I have also worked in the public schools systems as a special an aide for a 11-year-old girl. I love to tutor 3rd-5th grade students in reading/math. I gained both formal and informal childcare experience including 1 year of floating classrooms from ages newborn to 5 years, 1 year of lead teaching a class of 2's and 3's in a childcare center, and 6 months as a assistant teacher in another childcare center. I love working with little and older kids, as they each bring something new with their ages. I am experienced with working with children from birth to 12 years. I am comfortable with driving children to and from home!
