About Marcy

I have known Marcy for over 15 years. When I first met Marcy, she was hired to train and show my horse. Marcy would be counted on to housesit my cats and dogs when we went on vacation. Than as my mother got older, we needed help caring for her so she could remain in her own home. The last five years of my mothers life Marcy was one of three caregivers who looked after her as well as her 4 acre property, which included horses, a dog, a few cats, a goat, and a dwindling number of chickens and ducks. Through the last five years of my mothers life, Marcy became a dependable and important part of our family. Marcy displayed compassion and sensitivity to the needs of a person once so independent that now depended upon the care of others. It is also important to mention that over the years there were times of crisis and dealing with both animals and people. On those occasions, Marcy display their capacity to remain calm and find the resources to to deal with these difficult situations.
