I hired Marcos in October 2025 to serve as a special education school aide for my two grandsons during their virtual Lindamood-Bell homeschool program and reading intensives. One child has Level 2 autism, apraxia of speech, ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, dyslexia, and dyscalculia, and may resist schoolwork or attempt to leave the learning area. The other has ADHD and is intellectually gifted, so they require very different approaches. Marcos learned the curriculum, helped teach lessons, kept both boys engaged, adapted explanations, provided calm redirection, and maintained close safety supervision. He worked with me as a teammate and was consistently patient, dependable, punctual, and attentive. He does not simply sit nearby—he participates, models tasks, and helps the boys work through frustration. His support made a demanding school schedule more manageable. I trust him completely and highly recommend him for special-needs childcare, educational aide, nanny, or family assistant work.
