I have over 15 years of dedicated experience working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients, supported by extensive, ongoing training in memory care, behavioral approaches, safety, and communication techniques. My career has included serving as a Home Health Aide Supervisor, where I oversaw care plans, trained staff, and ensured consistent, compassionate support for clients. I also spent five years as an Activities Director in a memory care community, developing and leading specialized programs aimed at reducing anxiety, encouraging engagement, and supporting dignity and connection. Throughout my work, I've learned the importance of patience, structure, understanding triggers, and meeting each individual exactly where they are. I take pride in creating a calm, supportive environment and adapting care to each person's unique needs and abilities. My passion is helping individuals with memory loss feel safe, comforted, and valued while giving families confidence and peace of mind.
