I offer customizable 2 to 4 hour power sessions providing flexible assistance with various tasks such as laundry, meal preparation like chores, carpool, errands, light organization, caring for the mildly ill children, cooking meals, party preparation and planning. entertaining children, and companionship for elderly parents. Marcella is in the right profession. She very quickly tunes in to a child's strengths and appears to enjoy their company (which the child senses). I have two very different 12 year old boys and Marcella respects their differences. She is flexible and takes into account the family needs and is very impressively efficient. She will cook and do light cleaning as well as play games or take my kiddo to the gym. I have an untidy house but I have never felt judged by Marcella, only supported.

We hired Marcella towards the end of 2022. My husband and I realized that our back to back meeting schedule every morning wasn't allowing us to give our two kiddos (4&6) the attention they deserve, and we realized we needed some help. After hiring one nanny that was not very reliable, we called up Marcella (who I had spoken with previously but opted for somebody else who was a bit less expensive). I checked about 5 of her references, who all only had glowing reviews. After working with Marcella for 3 months, I can confirm they are all accurate. During our interview we told her that our kids struggle to get through breakfast and it's often a battle to get them to eat. So on day 1 she showed up with Yahtzee and told the kids that she would teach them to play as soon as they got through breakfast. I was so impressed that she listened and prepared herself for this in advance! Side note- the kids got through eating and loved playing Yahtzee with her. She quickly just fell into our routine. She arrived promptly (always super prompt!) at 6:30, took care of our two large dogs, made lunches and breakfast for the kiddos- even pancakes and French toast! Which were previously unheard of for our house on a weekday. She really got to know and love our kids. She suggested an edit to our schedule which allowed our younger kiddo the chance to be home a bit longer since his preschool schedule was flexible. It made a huge difference to his mood each morning, and we continue the new schedule now. She prepped dinner, made beds, did laundry, vacuumed often (my 2 large dogs shed a lot!). She would see things and offer to take care of it- like taking the mountain of Amazon boxes piling up to the recycling center, organizing my Tupperware drawer, organizing my kiddos bookshelves and clearing out the fridge. On Valentine's Day she made strawberry muffins with the kiddos and they decorated chocolate covered strawberries before heading off to school. I can't speak highly enough about how much she means to our family and how much easier she made our lives. Unfortunately, my husband was laid off a few weeks ago. We offered to keep her for the next month in hopes my husband would find something soon (and I don't want to lose her!) but she instead realized that the uncertainty of when my husband would find work may create more stress, and gave us the option of letting her go to save money during this time. Needless to say, we're missing her like crazy- especially the kiddos who ask about FaceTiming her because they miss her so much. Don't hesitate about hiring Marcella- she is a lifesaver!!!

My kids love Marcella,  she picks them up from school, drop them to their sports activities, cooks and feed them well, and plays with my 10 year old. I can always depend on her when needed, she keeps up with the schedule and goes beyond the expectation. Highly recommended., 

Marcella is kind, reliable, and absolutely wonderful with our three girls (ages 6, 6, and 9). She helps pick them up from school (with her own booster seats which is very helpful), complete homework, and she engages them in indoor and outdoor play. My house is always cleaner and more organized when I get home. As a nurse working varied hours and days, I also appreciate her flexibility. Our family definitely recommends her!

Marcella is a wonderful caregiver and person!!! We hired her this summer to help with getting our kids to their summer programs. She always arrived on time (or even early) and efficiently made our kids' breakfasts and lunches, lovingly got them ready in the morning, helped me with various household tasks, and even had enough time to play games with my kids in the morning! She then drove them to their summer programs. She did all of this with patience and a caring and positive presence. I also appreciated her wisdom as a mother, and her compassion for my kids, my husband and me.
