About Marcella

I'm the oldest of 4 kids with a 15 year age gap, so I grew up as a teen with a sibling in my arms and in tow. I started babysitting the neighborhood kids at age 12. Even as an adult, I was the office go-to person to watch the upper managements kids. At one full time office job, I was watching the Dir of Sales, Dir of Conference Mgmt, and Dir of Caterings kids at nights and on the weekends. The Dir of Sales offered for me to be their live-in nanny and asked me to quit my job to do so, but I kept my health benefits and just continued watching their young son as they attended work galas, etc. Throughout my food and beverage career I have unintentionally leaned towards jobs with kids. My previous job, I was the food and beverage manager at a very popular water park and hotel which brought in up to 2000 families a weekend. I enjoyed wearing slinky and ice cream earrings to establish a conversation piece with the kids. I've been around kids my whole life and I just seem to understand them.
