About Marcela

It was our great privilege to have Marcela as a caregiver for over three years. Following my wife’s paralysis in 2021—resulting in a complete loss of motor function and sensation from the chest down—Marcela provided compassionate, skilled, and dedicated care until my wife’s passing in 2024. Marcela was responsible for a wide range of complex daily care tasks, including bathing, dressing, managing all medications, catheter care, and the use of a Hoyer lift for transfers between bed and wheelchair. In addition, she regularly transported my wife in a wheelchair-accessible van and accompanied her to medical appointments and social outings. Marcela consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and genuine compassion. Beyond her technical capabilities, she was also a warm and comforting presence, serving not only as a caregiver but also as a trusted companion. I recommend Marcela without reservation.
