About Marcela

Hello! My name is Marcela and I am a first year masters student at Columbia University Teachers College in Spanish-English bilingual pediatric speech-pathology. Childcare has long been a passion of mine. Since age 12 I have babysat, nannied, and worked in camp environments in various locations. I have worked with children ranging in ages from ages 3 months to 14 years. I have been a consistent babysitter for several families across the years and have served as a temporary nanny as well. My love for childcare comes through in my work as an enthusiastic, energetic, and creative childcare provider. I truly find joy in children and love to come into their world while interacting with them, whether it's running around, being goofy, or creating imaginative games. I love to hike, bike, swim, and camp, as well as crocheting and learning French. I live in Manhattan.
