Marcela is not only knowledgable but friendly, kind, and reliable! She was our night nanny but since our daughter sleeps mostly through the night now, we plan to continue using her to babysit for date nights, work, etc. I highly recommend Marcela. She’s just wonderful!

Okay so I had never used Care.com before and I just finished using a service who were EXTREMELY overpriced and was not a good experience with the nurse.  Needless to say, we gave night nursing another shot and boy are we glad we did. Marcela has been a godsend. Her knowledge is levels above the certified night nurse that we used previously and her work ethic and professionalism are indescribable too. She has gone above and beyond for us and there is really not enough good things to say about her. I would be honored to be a reference for her in the future and highly recommend her to anyone in need of childcare - just remember I hope to use her from time to time still too! LOL

Marcela has been a joy and pleasure to work with and has been such a blessing to our family. She is so knowledgeable on all matters newborn, infant, toddler and beyond. She is great with our son, and we were very impressed when she was able to get him on a schedule and develop a sleep plan for him which supported him to sleep through the night. She is a great communicator, trustworthy, reliable and always goes above and beyond. We can't thank her enough!

I wish that Marcela lived in Chicago, so that I could hire her all the time! I travel around for work and use care.com for my daughter alot. I got in touch with Marcela, and she came up with an incredible plan for my daughter that involved several local children's museums and parks. She knows the area so well, and she has great ideas for excursions and activities. Alas, my daughter got sick right before my work trip, so I needed to leave her at home. I was disappointed, because out of my many care.com nannies, Marcela was one of the most communicative and prepared and creative. I would have been happy to be at work all day knowing my daughter was out on lovely adventures with Marcela.

We hired Marcela to help watch our girls (ages 2 1/2 and 16 months) for 7 weeks on the weekends, Saturday/Sunday 8-5 pm.  She is terrific.  She can do full days with zero screen time for both girls.  She is always willing to get out of the house to bring the girls to the park, go for walks, etc.  She fixes food, cleans, etc.  My girls loved her and so did we (my wife and me).  I would rehire Marcela in an instant and recommend her to anyone. 

Marcela is a dedicated, loving, caring, and responsible child-caregiver. Her work-ethic is exceptional, and any children she has been around, loves her. I have the pleasure of knowing Marcela for many years, and watching how she cares for children is a joy. 

She's truly amazing! Very positive, flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend her! 

Marcela was wonderful with both my 5 month old and 3 year old. She is upbeat , attentive , kind and patient with my children. Marcela has a wonderful warm personality and is a pleasure to be around. She communicates well with me and takes direction very well. I feel confident that my kids are well taken care of when she is with them 

Marcela watches my 20 month old son a few days per week and he absolutely adores her! She is very interactive when she plays with him. Marcela often reads to him, takes him for walks on his tricycle and took the initiative to take him to the library when I wasn't feeling well to get him out of the house and occupied. She prepares light meals and snacks for him as well.  Marcela is a total gem, trustworthy, kind, loving and patient, we're so grateful to have found her.

Marcella was great with my son.  He liked her very much and a saw a bond between them.  She was very clean and organized, did laundry for me, prepared meals for us.  I didn't have to tell her what to do.  She knew exactly what to do.  I would definitely hire her again and I highly recommend her.

My children took to Marcela the minute she came into the house. I felt completely at ease leaving my children with her, they were so happy when she arrived in the morning, had a great time with her and I only have great things to say about her. 

Marcela is wonderful, caring and thoughtful nanny and highly recommend her. She was a loving sitter for our children, kept them engaged, developed all while keep a happy home. Highly recommended.
