I have over 17 years experience and extensive background working with newborns, toddlers, and preschool aged children. I work well with all personality types and understand that the requirements of each child are very different and know how to adapt to them. I have also worked with a wide variety of ages and quantities ranging from 0-9 years of age and up to 6 children at a time. I am a firm believer in providing children with entertainment activities such as story time at the library, picnics in the park, arts and crafts and trips to the zoo. From previous families that I have been a nanny for my daily routines included preparing bottles, changing of diapers, giving baths and dressing children, cooking and serving/packing breakfast, lunch and snacks, transporting children to and from school and various activities. Above all I always maintain a safe and positive environment for the children I caring for.

There is no better caregiver than Mara. Full stop. I don't even know where to start. Anyone who hires her is incredibly lucky. She is a gentle, fun and kind baby whisperer but also a great guide and confidante for older kids. She's not only incredibly gifted and intuitive with children but also listens to parents' concerns and preferences and implements meaningful change if needed. She made it look easy to deal with picky eating, tantrums, endless craft and art kits, splash pads, theme parks, playground after playground, endless mac n cheese demands, sibling conflicts, sensory processing issues and more with great skill. She's also a clear communicator who's not afraid to bring up and address issues she sees. Mara brought a positive energy, joy and true care to our home and left it better than she found it every day. Did we mention that Mara got us through the pandemic? We couldn't have educated our 3 children during the lockdowns and worked without her. We are forever in her debt and recommend her wholly and without any reservation.
