About Mara

I worked at a daycare from ages 14-21 and as a 1:1 (or 2 or 3) babysitter when needed. I filled sippy cups, held hands, prepared meals, colored (so much coloring), resolved conflict, listened to, and soothed littles newborn-12 years old. I love getting to help navigate big emotions and answer silly questions (even if it's the same one over and over) and guide all ages through forming heathy attachments. I've had a special interest in child psychology and development since I was young and love getting to apply my knowledge in real time. I am currently a freelance brand designer and looking to add more stability to my life by nannying! outside of work, I love to laugh and essentially have the personality of an 80-year-old eclectic grandmother. I value kindness, inclusivity, and authenticity and would love to work with a family whose values align!
