About Manuella

Hi, my name is Manuella! I am a current graduate student at New York University studying Communicative Sciences and Disorders. I bring almost 10 years of babysitting experience, along with hands-on work in childcare and education. I have worked as an assistant teacher at Tompkins Hall Nursery, a camp counselor at Camp Léman, an intern at a charter school, and a student clinician providing supervised speech therapy. I've also been serving as a mentor with Read Ahead, offering weekly one-on-one virtual literacy support to an elementary student using a fun, structured curriculum. In addition, I bring a strong set of language skills: I'm fluent in English, Ga, and Twi; intermediate in French; and learning ASL and Dutch. I'm committed to creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments for children, and I'm excited to bring warmth, reliability, and a deep commitment to every child I work with.
