About Manuela

I am a bilingual, sweet, caring, reliable nanny who loves kids and is passionate about language and child development. I have a Bachelor's degree in teaching the English language and years of experience nannying and teaching both English and Spanish to adults and toddlers. After teaching language to adults for a few years I went back to school to take courses on Early Childhood Development and education because I love this topic. I now feel like I have a much greater understanding of how children and humans view and experience the world. I have additionally done coursework on toddler's brains and the best practices (backed by research) to love, guide, and support them in the ways they need as individuals in this life that is so new to them. I have been a nanny for 5 years and kids continue to amaze me and teach me more and more each day. I love playing with them and seeing them reach developmental milestones as we do. Im an advocate for kids, effective gentle parenting, and love.
