For over 10 years, I have provided reliable and compassionate companionship and personal support to individuals and families with different needs, from seniors to younger adults recovering from surgery or needing daily guidance and reminders.
My role often goes beyond basic care. Sometimes it's simply about being present--sharing meals, enjoying conversation, taking walks, or offering calm company. I also assist with light household tasks, post-surgery recovery support, gentle exercises, medication reminders, transportation, errands, and doctor appointments.
I support individuals who are mostly independent but benefit from routine guidance, memory reminders, and help with driving or daily organization. I have excellent references and certifications, and my goal is to help each person feel safe, comfortable, and valued--just like family.

Let me start by saying I would ABSOLUTELY HIRE MANI AGAIN!!

My wife experienced a pretty significant medical event and needed a lot of follow up care. Manuela was absolutely fantastic with her, helping with everything from food to bathroom needs and companionship. She's incredibly thoughtful and considerate and patient and really just amazing.

Just as importantly, she's also very professional. She's direct and clear about what she needs from you, and what her expectations are, and is great about listening to what you need. She showed up with a notepad so she could make sure to keep track of any details. She always showed up, and on time, which says a lot about her. 

Honestly, if you need help, just hire her. You won't be disappointed. 

Manuela is such a wonderful and caring person!  She really committed herself to the care of my mother, and works very broadly for her emotional, mental and physical health.  She is very thorough and focused on meals, medicines, routines.  She sets up consistent outings, making sure my mom could see different sites and people.   She also went out of her way to play specific music to my mom, look through photo albums and keep my mom happy.   She is also a great communicator, keeping me updated with any concerns or thoughts.  We are so lucky to have Manuela in our lives!!

Whether your loved one is a woman or a man, or a child, Mellie, with utmost respect for your wishes as to your loved one's care, will keep them extremely well cared-for. She has cared for my mother and other friends' mothers and fathers and children too. Mellie, who has many years of experience, afforded my mother 100% attention; she played music and sang with her, she bathed and groomed her, fed her, talked to her, exercised her, managed and administered medications and mental stimulation exercises, and knew exactly what to do when little or big emergencies arose. I was able to be at my job and even take some needed business trips feeling absolutely relieved of worry or guilt because Manuela ("Mellie) is absolutely trustworthy, experienced, and works with your loved one with all the intelligence and sensibleness, and kindness and goodness in her mind, heart, and soul.  You will not find a finer caregiver for your elderly loved ones or your children.

Manuela cared for both of my parents in their final years. My mother suffered from dementia and both my mother and father had congestive heart failure as well as other serious health issues. Manuela was incredibly patient and loving with them and treated them with enormous respect and tenderness. My husband and I were able to go to work every day without any worries about my parents' care. She helped them bathe and dress, prepared simple meals that suited their diets and tastes, cleaned up their room, changed sheets but most of all, she was such great company for them. I would often come home and find them in deep conversation. Additionally, she was able to take them to their routine appointments and report back to me with doctor's instructions and concerns. The nurses and nurse practitioners often told me how wonderful she was with my folks. She had a nice relationship with my parents' medical providers. She also took my folks to the senior center while they were still able to go. One very important service that Manuela did for us is staying with my parents when they were hospitalized. I hired her to be there with them during the days while we were working. She acted as our representative while we were at work, making sure they had water and enough blankets etc., keeping them company  when we couldn't be there ourselves. I recommend Manuela without any hesitation.  She's a sweet, caring, patient caregiver for the people she calls 'my elderlies'. I cannot say enough good things about her and am so grateful for the wonderful work she did for my family.

She worked for my mother who's 91 years old. Manuela is compassionate, nurturing, loving, smart, well-organized, hard working, trustworthy and a kind soul. My mother loved her. I have no reservations recommending her to help in a care situation.
