I have been working as STNA for over 10 years. I have worked with private patients; in nursing home and rehabilitation hospitals. I enjoy my job very much. Any help that I can provide for my patients to make theirs lives a little easier is usually the best part of my day. I had worked with young and senior population and every demographic is a joy to work with. I provide activities of daily living; light house cleaning; meal preparation; assist and remind with medications; help to take and set up appointments. Help with physical therapy activities prescribed by a physical therapist etc.... I work with a lot of senior with Alzheimer's, with senior who are prone with accidental fall. I also work with seniors with different ailments.
