About Mandy

I grew up the oldest of 7 children, have 5 children of my own and worked with pediatric and adults individuals with special needs as a Pulmonary Nurse for 18 years before becoming a Nursing Home Administrator. My children are older and am looking to fill my evenings and weekends making meaningful connections with families. I'd describe my personality as warm, patient and funny I like working with kids and seniors because it brings me joy. I always enjoy making them laugh I'm looking for opportunities that are part time and flexible. I still work full time. I started working with kids when I began babysitting at age 12. I've had my nursing license since 2003. In my spare time, I like to read, sing, go to museums and go hiking One thing you should know about me is I always treat others the way I would like to be treated My skills include keeping people calm, providing any basic medical needs within my scope of practice.
