Hi there! I'm a widowed, single mom to 11-year-old twins looking to supplement my single income in today's changing economy. I have a bachelor's degree in Human Development and family Science: Child Development from the University of Texas at Austin (2008) and I have worked in child welfare for the last 14 years. Working with children and families has always been my passion. I'm also a mom first, and my twins have taught me a whole lot of things about children that no amount of text books could! ;) My daughter is also intellectually disabled and diagnosed with cerebral palsy and both of my children have genetic disorders. So, depending on the level of needs your child has, I'm also comfortable working with children that need a little extra support.
