Through caring for my own father who lived with dementia, I developed a deep understanding of how important compassionate, patient, and reliable care is for aging loved ones. For the past year and a half, I provided one-on-one care for an 80-year-old gentleman with Alzheimer's disease. This role allowed me to support not only his daily needs, but also to work closely with his family to maintain comfort, dignity, and consistency. I truly enjoy dementia caregiving and take pride in creating a calm, respectful environment for those in my care. I am now seeking another family who would benefit from experienced, dependable dementia support.

Mandy did an outstanding job working with my father who just passed away from Alzheimer's. She looked out for him for 16 months and was even there with him when passed at the inpatient care facility. I live over 3 hours away and could always rely on her to look out for him as he lived by himself. She also did a lot to manage the house and do things like take the dog to the vet, pick up groceries, etc. My father was picky about who he had around him and thoroughly enjoyed Mandy's company. The communication and reliability was always great which was important as it is a challenge to manage someone's care when you are remote. Highly recommend.
