I have been a Certified nursing assistant for 20 years. I've worked with a wide range of disabilities. I'm very comfortable assisting with walking, range of motion, eating, all activities of daily living. I have cared for people with Alzheimer's and dementia through early stages to end. I adapt well to changes and am very observant to people's behaviors pertaining to their needs. I believe what is often classified as bad behavior is the inability to verbalize needs. I also worked as a medication aide in a nursing home both setting up and administering medication, taking vitals, blood sugars and insulin. I love what I do and care deeply about giving the best life I can to all whether it is keeping them active, vibrant and social or comfortable and at ease.
