About Mamie

I am currently a school-based after-school care supervisor and I am studying Health & Physical Education major, with a minor in Developmental & Adapted Physical Education (DAPE). Working with children isn't just a job for me, it's truly what I love to do! I have over 6 years of babysitting experience and have nannied for four summers, caring for children ranging from 9 months to 8 years old. I also currently provide occasional care for a wonderful family with four children, so I'm very comfortable managing multiple kids and different age groups at once. Through both my education and hands-on experience, I prioritize safety, structure, and fun. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have a reliable car for transportation, and love planning engaging activities that keep kids active, creative, and learning throughout the day. Whether it's outdoor play, crafts, games, or helping with routines, I enjoy creating a positive and supportive environment where children feel safe and excited.
