About Maliyah

Hi! My name is Maliyah, you can call me Leah! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient, and organized. I like working with kids because I get to see the world through their eyes. Watching kids grow and being able to be present in their lives, even if it's for a short time, is something I hold dear to me. I'm looking for a job that serves. Sometimes, we all need a village. We're all very deserving of that, I want to be part of yours! I started working with kids when I was a child. I have a younger sister who I spent lots of time watching and caring for. Throughout my teen years, I often spent my evenings caring for my older friends' kids. I work at a hospital currently giving me additional experience with children and newborns. In my spare time, I like to ride horses, read, and run 5k's! One thing you should know about me is I'm reliable! My skills include being CPR certified, being flexible, and having ample experience in communicating with children.
