About Malia

Hello! My name is Malia and I am currently 20 years old. I am originally from Santa Cruz, CA, and I am currently attending SFSU. I have an associates degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. I have been babysitting since I was about 15, but didn't seriously start to nanny until March of 2020. I worked with siblings (1 and 3, now 3 and 5) and a baby (6 months at start, now 2). I established lasting meaningful relationships with families and children by encouraging open communication and delivering positive feedback. I strive to build positive and nurturing environments to support a child's social and emotional growth. I love encouraging outside play and activities, and am pretty flexible! I love cooking and would be open to assisting in some family meal prep if applicable.
