About Malia

Hi, I'm Malia! Caring for others has always been more than a job to me; I truly believe it is one of the gifts God has placed on my life. I've been babysitting since I was 15 and have experience as a mom, youth leader, church babysitter, nanny, and homeschool support. I'm currently earning my degree in Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family and have studied early childhood development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the developmental and emotional needs of children from infancy through adolescence. I understand that every child and household is different, so I respect each family's routines, values, boundaries, and parenting style. Whether we're learning, getting creative, playing outside, or having a Mario Kart match, I love meeting children where they are! Most importantly, I want every child in my care to feel safe, seen, encouraged, and genuinely cared for.
