About Malena

Hello! My name is Malena, and I'm 24 years old. I have a Bachelors Degree in Community Studies, as well as in Psychology and am currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work awith a concentration in youth behavioral health. I have a strong passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun. I have over five years of experience babysitting upwards of 4 children at a time from ages 2 to 14 and one year of tutoring a 5th grader with a learning disability. I love planning crafts, reading stories, and creating activities that spark curiosity and encourage learning. I also help kids build good habits, like cleaning up after themselves, and always leave the house tidy. I'm fluent in English and Spanish and love teaching kids new words in Spanish through play. I have my own reliable transportation and value being both a caring and dependable support for families. I look forward to working with you and your little ones!
