Hi, I currently work as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) with a little over 2 years of experience. I absolutely love working with children. I started as an after school program teacher when I was 17 years old for WCCUSD and from there I've worked as an one on one aide, a yard supervisor, a dance instructor, para, and prek teacher. I decided to go into the medical field as a medical assistant and then a caregiver. I am naturally a very caring individual but I really missed working with kids so I decided to get back to doing what I loved and had a passion for. I became apart of Oakland's YMCA youth and family department, working in childwatch, and also their camp programs. From there I decided to go back to school and obtain my BA in sociology and started working for OUSD at a special preschool that is design to serve children with special needs. I was intrigued with ABA therapy and decided to get my certification to become an RBT and work one on one with children on the spectrum.
