About Malana

I'm Malana, a compassionate and dependable in-home caregiver with nearly a year of hands-on experience. I've supported clients with dementia, disabilities, ADLs, IADLs, companionship, and end-of-life care. I assist with personal care, bathing, oral hygiene, mobility, transfers, toileting, feeding, meal preparation, medication reminders, housekeeping, laundry, errands, and appointments. I have reliable transportation and adapt to each client's needs. I've completed extensive CareAcademy training in CPR, Alzheimer's and dementia care, end-of-life care, medication assistance, transfers, fall prevention, infection control, ADLs/IADLs, and much more. I also completed Alzheimer's training through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and training in communication, conflict resolution, disability awareness, and stress management. I'm enrolled to begin CNA training and clinicals in January. I'm passionate about helping people feel safe, respected, and valued while maintaining dignity.
