About Malak

I've been tutoring for a few years now, starting in college where I worked with K-12 students in Math and Science. Later on, I became a Biology Teaching Fellow and started tutoring my peers in college-level Biology and Chemistry. I have a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and I've worked with students of all ages. Whether it's helping younger students build confidence in Math or guiding college students through complex science topics, I always try to meet each student where they're at. Outside of tutoring, I'm really into fitness-I love running, going to the gym, doing yoga or pilates, and cycling. People often tell me I'm patient and easy to talk to, and I try to bring that energy into every session. I want my students to feel supported, understood, and motivated to keep learning.
