About Malaika

Hi! I'm Malaika, a Registered Nurse (RN) and graduate of MSMC with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am passionate about maternal-child health, Labor & Delivery, postpartum care, and newborn wellness. My passion for caring for mothers and babies began during my Labor & Delivery hospital experiences. I will never forget a patient in labor who looked at me with relief after I helped bring her comfort during one of the most painful moments of her birth journey. That experience showed me the impact compassionate care can have on a family and inspired me to dedicate my career to supporting mothers, babies, and families. As an RN, I provide compassionate overnight newborn care, including feedings, diaper changes, soothing techniques, newborn routines, and safe sleep practices. I believe that when mothers feel rested, supported, and empowered, their babies thrive too. It would be an honor to support your family during this beautiful season of life.
