About Makyla

At the age of 12 years old I was taking care of newborn twins while their mom took care of the 5-year-old and worked. At 13 years old I took care of a 5-month-old baby for a couple of months beforehand her family moved out of state. I take care of my moms friends 1-year-old a lot while they go out or if the mom is busy. This past summer I babysat 3 kids ages 8, 7, and 4 while their dad worked all week. I babysat them for an entire week from 8:00am-4:00pm, for the full 5 days. We went to the pool and swam, we went to the park in our neighborhood, they had a set lunch time and quiet time where we watched a movie, and then we had a set clean up time before their dad got home so he didn't have to worry about it. The cool incentive for the kids was that they received an Oreo after they finished cleaning . I love kids, I am very patient with them. I want to be a advanced practicing nurse in pediatrics so babysitting is the perfect side job for me.
