About Makiyah

Hello families! My name is Makiyah, and I'm passionate about providing dependable and compassionate senior care. I have experience assisting with daily routines, medication reminders, meal prep, mobility support, and companionship as I did with my grandma who's battling with Parkinson's Disease. I have a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and had the privilege to complete an internship supporting and curating free workout plans for senior citizens to counteract the risks of diabetes. My background in therapeutic settings (2. 5 years at Scottish rite for children) has given me patience and adaptability, as well as the ability to tailor care to each individual's unique needs. Whether it's helping with errands, preparing meals, or simply sharing meaningful conversation, I strive to make each day safe, comfortable, and uplifting.
