About Makida

I am a college student with a flexible schedule. My experience as a babysitter/nanny started about 4 years ago. Previously, I have worked for friends, family members, and neighbors. I became very fond of children when I was a part of the youth ministry at my hometown church. This was a time where I was able to bond with kids by reading them stories, helping them with arts and craft activities, teaching them basic skills, and simply having fun! It was definitely a rewarding experience and has furthered my interest to work with kids in some way. In the past as a nanny I was responsible for cooking and cleaning for the children, escorting the children from school, or to after school activities. I was also able to assist the kids with their homework in subjects such as Math and English. Overall my objective is to assure that your child feels safe and comfortable with me while you, the parent is at work. I want to help maintain a healthy, balanced, happy environment for your children.
