Hello! My name is Maki. I have a natural ability to make children feel comfortable and at ease around me. I previously worked at a daycare center in the New Jersey/New York area, where I cared for toddlers (mostly 1-3 years old). I have my own baby girl as well. Over the past decade, I have cared for children ranging from newborns to school-aged kids up to 4th grade. Originally from Japan, I have been living in the U. S. for 17 years and am now a proud citizen. I am a non-smoker, trustworthy, and very easygoing. We hired Maki to be our part time nanny for our son when he was just 6 weeks old and she stayed with us for 3 years until my son started preschool. Maki was an amazing caregiver! She was gentle, engaging, nurturing and patient with our son. She was very reliable, trustworthy and communicative. She was also great with our two dogs. Maki has now become our regular date night sitter and we highly recommend her!
