About Makia

Hi! My name is Makia, and I am a caring, responsible, and patient childcare provider with hands-on experience working with infants and toddlers. I previously worked in a daycare setting, caring for children ages newborn to 2 years old, which helped me develop strong skills in nurturing, safety, and age-appropriate engagement. I truly enjoy helping children learn and grow through play, routine, and positive encouragement. I am attentive, dependable, and understand the importance of maintaining a safe, loving environment. I also have experience with diaper changes, feeding, nap schedules, and creating fun, educational activities. I am currently in nursing school and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), which has strengthened my knowledge of child safety, health awareness, and proper care techniques.
