About Makeya

Hello! My name is Makeya. I am a 35-year-old Certified Nursing Assistant with over 17 years of experience providing compassionate care in diverse healthcare settings, primarily with elderly patients. I have been employed at the Veterans Hospital for the past 15 years, where I regularly care for patients with dementia, memory loss, stroke recovery needs, rehabilitation needs, and Alzheimer's disease. I am CPR and First Aid certified and highly skilled in providing a wide range of patient care services, including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility assistance, transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs, special hygiene care, and assisting with rehabilitative exercises. I am a caring, dependable, and kind-hearted person who truly enjoys helping others. Working in the geriatric field is something I am very passionate about, and I take pride in providing respectful, patient-centered care while helping individuals maintain their dignity and comfort.
