I worked as a Care Giver in Seattle, Washington for 4 months before moving to Santa Rosa, California and worked for a client in Sebastopol for 2yrs 8 months. Working with my client in Seattle was just assisting her to shower, dressed her up prepare her meals... breakfast and lunch, sometimes I help with preparing dinner but most dinners was done by her daughter. My Sebastopol client was a Gentlement who is a wheel chair person, every little things is done to him, like toileting, shower, getting him dressed his meals prepared and given through feeding tube and not by mouth... He communicate very little by saying yes or no when asked a question. He is such a loving person. I worked with so many clients like hospice, Dementia, bed bound being in this field for almost 10 years and I love this work, it fills us up with love, just like taking care of your Grand parents.
