About Makenzi

Hi! I'm Kenzi, and I'm passionate about working with children of all ages. I have over 6 years of hands-on childcare experience and nearly finished with my Elementary Education degree (just student teaching left!), I bring both practical and academic knowledge to every family I work with. I've been a K-8 English Language Arts and Math tutor for 8 years, helping students gain confidence and skills in the classroom and beyond. My childcare experience ranges from nannying for infants and working in a daycare setting with toddlers (15-21 months) and preschoolers (3-5 years), to working with and helping love kids up to 14 years old!! I love creating engaging, age-appropriate, fun, and educational activities that encourage learning and development. I'm CPR and First Aid certified for infants, children, and adults, and I always prioritize safety, communication, and kindness in my care.
