About Makenzie

I have wanted to work with kids for as long as I can remember. My mother is a teacher and I followed in her footsteps. I'm going to school for Early Education and have been working at a daycare for the last five years. I love watching as the kids grow into their own person and it makes me happy to be able to help them on that journey. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to grow as a person and as a childcare provider. I started working with kids when I was 13. I went to a hospital and got my CPR certification and immediately started babysitting around the neighborhood. I am almost 25 now and have been working with kids ever since. In my spare time, I like to read or binge a good show. One thing you should know about me is I am willing to go above and beyond for my job and for the child in my care. My skills include lesson planning, quick problem solving skills and communication with parents and students.
