Hello! My name is Makenzie and I am a mommy to a 4-year-old boy. I am level-headed, gentle, responsive, child-led, and a very present/hands on parent who believes in gentle parenting and a lot of Montessori practices. In addition to my experience as a mother, I have babysat and adored children most of my life. Professionally, I have two years of experience with three families I have provided care for. My preferred age group would be the toddler range, but I am comfortable and experienced in caring for children of any age. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-oriented, creative space to grow in. I enjoy all kinds of crafts, pretend play, reading stories, and supporting/nurturing confidence and independence in small humans. Makenzie has been watching our son since he was 12weeks old. She has been an amazing sitter who has become like family. We were very nervous in the beginning because we had never used a private sitter for our other child, but she exceeded our expectations! She is so good with our son. She’s sweet & fun but she also makes sure he follows the rules and uses good manners! She’s always been very flexible if our work day goes long or if we need to drop him off early. We have been so grateful for all the care she has provided!
