About Makenna

I am a first year occupational therapy student with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies! I have experience with kids ages 6 weeks-13 years (& kids with disabilities!) in a variety of settings: early childhood education center, in-home childcare, and behavioral therapy. I am passionate about providing children with the tools to grow and develop, and I use positive guidance principles. Using knowledge about healthy social-emotional development, I foster a warm environment where kids can feel safe to explore and learn! I have experience with driving children around and am comfortable putting car seats in my car or driving your car. I have a clean driving record!
