Hi! I'm Makenna. I'm from Albuquerque, New Mexico but came to Arizona to attend NAU and since graduation have been teaching in the valley for the last four years. My degree is in elementary and special education and I have experience from K-12 in a variety of grades in both gen ed and special ed. I love arts and crafts, cooking/baking, going outside, movies, games/puzzles and anything creative. I am a big reader and have a passion for science and social studies. Prior to being a teacher I nannied and babysat throughout high school and college for infants-middle schoolers. I am comfortable with all age groups and am passionate about building strong relationships with kids. I'm comfortable enforcing house rules, doing light housekeeping/errands/cooking, helping with homework and providing tutoring if desired. I'm excited to meet you and your family and look forward to building a strong, supportive and reliable relationship! Please message me with any questions you might have :)
